Edoshoe Manufacturing Company Takes Learners on Market Research Tour

In a bid to strengthen practical knowledge and improve entrepreneurial readiness among trainees, Edoshoe Manufacturing Company organized a market research excursion for its TVET/IDEAS learners. The visit exposed students to various material shops where essential footwear production items are sold.

The excursion, led by Mrs. Sunday Tessy, aimed to equip learners with firsthand knowledge of sourcing materials — a critical skill for success in the footwear industry. By understanding where to buy leather, soles, gum, threads, and other accessories, the students will be better positioned to manage production independently after graduation.



Edoshoe Manufacturing Company reiterated its commitment to producing skilled experts who are capable not only of making quality footwear but also handling the business aspect of the craft. The initiative ensures that upon completing their training, learners can confidently return to these markets to purchase materials and fulfill customer orders.



The students expressed appreciation to TVET, the IDEAS Project, and Edoshoe Manufacturing Company for providing such a valuable learning opportunity. This hands-on exposure represents another step toward empowering young people with practical, employable, and entrepreneurial skills.
