Edo State to Train 800 Youths in High-Demand Digital Skills

In a strategic move to tackle youth unemployment and accelerate digital transformation, the Edo State Government has announced plans to train 800 youths in high-demand digital skills, positioning them for meaningful employment, entrepreneurship, and participation in the global digital economy.
The initiative, driven through a public–private partnership framework, is designed to equip young people across the 18 local government areas of the state with practical, industry-relevant digital competencies. The program aligns with Edo State’s broader vision of building a digitally empowered, innovation-driven workforce capable of competing locally and globally.
