Applications are now open for the 2026 MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) Academy, a fully funded, intensive 12-month filmmaking and television production training programme designed to nurture the next generation of African storytellers and creative professionals. The programme is an initiative of the MultiChoice Group, aimed at equipping young Africans with world-class technical, creative, and business skills for the film and television industry. About the Programme
The MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy offers a comprehensive, hands-on training experience that combines classroom learning, industry-led masterclasses, and real production exposure. The programme is hosted across four regional academies in:
Lagos, Nigeria (West Africa Academy)
Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa Academy)
Lusaka, Zambia (Southern Africa Academy)
Johannesburg, South Africa (South Africa Academy)

Programme Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be citizens of eligible African countries
Possess a qualification in film, TV, media, drama, or related disciplines, or demonstrate 1–2 years of relevant industry experience
Show strong passion for storytelling, creativity, and media production
Be available for full-time participation for 12 months
