The Young Changemakers 2026 initiative, organized by the African Futures & Innovation Programme (AFI) at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), is now accepting submissions as part of the African Futures Conference 2026. 🌍 Theme: The choices that will shape Africa’s future

Who can apply?
Young Africans aged 18–35, including students, professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, activists, researchers, creatives, and community leaders. No previous experience in foresight is required. (ISS African Futures⁠)

Submission formats:

  • 📝 Written submission (maximum 1,500 words)
  • 🎥 Video (3–5 minutes)
  • 🎙️ Audio/Podcast (3–5 minutes) (ISS African Futures⁠)
