📢 Call for Submissions: Young Changemakers 2026
Are you a young African with bold ideas for shaping the continent’s future? This is your opportunity to share your vision and join a network of emerging leaders, innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, creatives, and storytellers.
The Young Changemakers 2026 initiative, organized by the African Futures & Innovation Programme (AFI) at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), is now accepting submissions as part of the African Futures Conference 2026. Selected participants will contribute to conversations on Africa’s future and gain recognition for their innovative ideas. (ISS African Futures)

Who can apply?
Young Africans aged 18–35, including students, professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, activists, researchers, creatives, and community leaders. No previous experience in foresight is required. (ISS African Futures)
Submission formats:
- 📝 Written submission (maximum 1,500 words)
- 🎥 Video (3–5 minutes)
- 🎙️ Audio/Podcast (3–5 minutes) (ISS African Futures)
