Duration: 3–5 Days Intensive Training


COURSE OBJECTIVE

This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and practical tools needed to:

  1. Understand the fundamentals of affiliate marketing.

  2. Build and manage group affiliations effectively.

  3. Leverage community engagement to promote business growth.

  4. Create income and funding opportunities through affiliate structures under the Hybridteck ecosystem.

  5. Empower participants to recruit and train others, expanding the Hybridteck skill and funding network.

MODULE 1: 

INTRODUCTION TO AFFILIATE MARKETING

Lecture Content

  1. Definition of Affiliate Marketing

    • Affiliate marketing is a system where individuals promote products or services and earn a commission for every sale, signup, or referral generated through their unique link or code.

  2. The Affiliate System in Hybridteck

    • Each Hybridteck member becomes an affiliate of the community.

    • Members earn by promoting Hybridteck’s services — skills training, digital tools, and funding opportunities.

    • Every member must invite 3 new learners to join the program.

  3. The Benefits of Affiliate Marketing

    • Earn while you learn.

    • Build your business network.

    • Gain visibility and trust.

    • Increase income through commissions.

    • Access to business funding and mentorship.

  4. How Affiliate Marketing Works

    • Step 1: Register as a Hybridteck SkillFund member.

    • Step 2: Receive your affiliate ID or referral code.

    • Step 3: Share your link or promote training and Hybridteck products/services.

    • Step 4: Earn incentives when new members register through you.

Class Activities

  • Discuss affiliate examples (e.g., Jumia, Amazon, Hybridteck model).

  • Group brainstorming: “How can I promote Hybridteck to my friends?”

  • Role play: Pitching Hybridteck SkillFund to a potential learner.

MODULE 2: UNDERSTANDING GROUP AFFILIATIONS AND COMMUNITY BUILDING

Lecture Content

  1. What is Group Affiliation?

    • A structure where people with shared goals work together under a system (like Hybridteck) to promote products, skills, or opportunities.

  2. Purpose of Group Affiliation in Hybridteck

    • To create youth employment through group cooperation.

    • To ensure accountability and teamwork.

    • To support members in achieving skill and business goals.

    • To strengthen marketing and referrals.

  3. Group Roles and Leadership

    • Group Leader: Coordinates the team, reports to the centre.

    • Assistant Leader: Supports group coordination.

    • Marketing Head: Promotes activities and recruits new learners.

    • Finance Officer: Records contributions and incentives.

    • Training Representative: Monitors attendance and participation.

  4. Affiliate Group Structure

    • Each member forms a mini group of 3–5 learners.

    • Each learner is responsible for introducing 3 others.

    • The system expands geometrically, creating a self-sustaining network.

  • Group discussion: “Why teamwork is important for business success.”

  • Exercise: Form your 3-member affiliate team.

  • Chart activity: Draw your personal affiliate tree (you → 3 learners → their 3 learners).

MODULE 3: 

GROUP MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP

  1. Principles of Group Management

    • Planning and coordination.

    • Communication and feedback.

    • Record keeping.

    • Motivation and reward.

    • Conflict management.

  2. Leadership Qualities

    • Vision, Integrity, Empathy, Accountability, and Action.

    • How to motivate team members.

    • Setting group targets (recruitment, training completion, and funding readiness).

  3. Hybridteck Group Management Tools

    • Attendance register.

    • Affiliate tracking system.

    • Skill performance reports.

    • Funding application forms.

  4. Monitoring and Evaluation

    • Weekly review meetings.

    • Monthly performance reports.

    • Recognition of top affiliates and best-performing groups.

  • Group presentation: “Our Group Vision and Recruitment Plan.”

  • Simulation: Managing a team conflict.

  • Leader’s challenge: Set a 30-day recruitment goal for your team.

MODULE 4: DIGITAL MARKETING FOR AFFILIATES

  1. Digital Tools for Affiliate Promotion

    • Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok).

    • Email and SMS marketing.

    • WhatsApp groups and broadcast lists.

    • Affiliate dashboards.

  2. Creating Engaging Content

    • How to talk about your training.

    • Using success stories.

    • Creating flyers, videos, and testimonials.

    • Promoting with integrity — avoid spam or false promises.

  3. Tracking Your Results

    • Monitoring clicks, referrals, and conversions.

    • Setting weekly goals for engagement and recruitment.

  • Create and share a 1-minute social media promo video.

  • Workshop: Build your personal brand online.

  • Evaluation: Track your affiliate performance for one week.

MODULE 5: FUNDING, INCENTIVES, AND GROWTH

Lecture Content

  1. Hybridteck Funding Model

    • Members who complete training and meet referral targets qualify for business funding (up to ₦1.5 million).

    • Funding is based on performance, accountability, and active participation.

  2. How to Qualify for Funding

    • Complete all modules.

    • Refer at least 3 learners.

    • Participate in group meetings.

    • Submit your business plan or project proposal.

    • Maintain good group standing.

  3. Incentives and Rewards

    • Commissions for every successful referral.

    • Bonus for active group leaders.

    • Recognition in Hybridteck community network.

    • Access to partnership and investment opportunities.

Class Activities

  • Discussion: “How will you use your funding to create jobs for others?”

  • Assignment: Draft a simple business idea and funding proposal.

  • Presentation: Group showcase of affiliate progress.

ASSESSMENT

  • Continuous Assessment (40%): Class participation, group tasks, and presentations.

  • Final Assessment (60%):

    • Affiliate recruitment performance.

    • Group leadership evaluation.

    • Funding proposal submission.
