What is RPL?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that evaluates your existing skills, knowledge, and experience — whether acquired through:

  • Informal apprenticeship

Successful candidates are awarded National Skills Qualification (NSQ) Certification – Level 1, 2 or 3, depending on competency level.

Step 1: Complete Online Registration

Fill out the RPL Registration Form under the CDS-TP programme section.


Step 2: Pay the Required Fees

  • CDS-TP Membership Fee – ₦150,000

(Additional assessment logistics may apply depending on trade category.)


Step 3: Submit Required Documents

Upload or present:

  • Valid ID Card

  • Evidence of work experience (photos, videos, recommendation letter, or work samples)

  • Passport photograph




Step 4: Competency Assessment

You will undergo:

  • Practical skills demonstration

  • Oral or written competency evaluation

  • Portfolio review (if applicable)

Assessment will be conducted by certified assessors under Hybridteck CDS-TP framework.


Step 5: Certification

Successful candidates will receive:
