📢 News | Call for Applications: UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme (TLP) 2026

Applications are now open for the UNESCO-UNEVOC Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Leadership Programme (TLP) 2026, a prestigious global initiative designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of mid- to senior-level TVET professionals to drive institutional and systems-level transformation.

The programme is part of the global initiative “Towards a Global TVET Agenda”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) through the German Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). It reflects a strong global commitment to advancing cooperation, policy learning, and capacity development in the TVET sector. (MSME Africa)

“Leading Systems Change in TVET”

The 2026 edition focuses on empowering participants to translate policy into action, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and enhance the relevance, inclusiveness, digital transformation, and sustainability of TVET institutions. (MSME Africa)

🔹 Programme Structure & Timeline

Duration: May – November 2026
Delivery Mode: Blended (Online + In-person)
In-Person Training: 22 June – 1 July 2026
Notification of Selection: April 2026

Participants will engage in a series of blended learning modules, collaborative peer exchanges, and practical leadership development activities. (MSME Africa)

🔹 Who Should Apply?

This programme targets mid- to senior-level professionals involved in:

TVET leadership and institutional management
Skills development and employment systems
Policy development and implementation
Monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance
Networking and partnership management

Eligibility Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years professional experience
Strong interest and ability to drive change
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Institutional support to implement action plans

Women and candidates from under-represented, conflict-affected, and resource-constrained contexts are strongly encouraged to apply. (MSME Africa)
