PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT COMMENCEMENT OF TVET VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Funded by the World Bank through IDEAS

Edoshoe Manufacturing Company, in collaboration with Hybridteck Training Institute, is pleased to announce the official commencement of a comprehensive TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) programme for youths and aspiring entrepreneurs in Fashion Design and Leather Work, developed under the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) standard.

This training is supported and funded by the World Bank through the Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project, aimed at empowering individuals with globally competitive practical skills for sustainable employment and entrepreneurship.

The programme will equip trainees with hands-on knowledge in fashion design, footwear production, leather goods manufacturing, and value-chain development within the creative and industrial sector. Participants will also benefit from mentorship, enterprise development support, and market access opportunities.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

  • To equip participants with practical and employable vocational skills.

  • To strengthen Nigeria’s leather value chain and textile/fashion ecosystem.

  • To empower youths, women, and PWDs with sustainable income-generating skills.

  • To promote innovation and local manufacturing for job creation.

  • To align skills development with global TVET competency standards.
