Edo Shoe Manufacturing Company is an indigenous footwear design manufacturing company based in Edo state Nigeria, registered with Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) The Company was established to contribute towards the development of the private industrial sector in Nigeria. 
We produce of all kinds of footwear's and carryout training services on Entrepreneurship Development and Business Management, Our clients range from Government Organizations, Association, Non Governmental Organizations, International Organizations, Oil Producing companies and other Multi-National Companies. As part of our social corporate responsibility to help reduce unemployment in Edo state, we have partner with Edo State Government through Edojob, NDE, ECF Finance Ltd, Benson Idahosa University, Hybridteck Global, Uhnomwonde LGA, and Ogbemudia Rural Care Organization to help trained unemployed graduate and artisans in the state.
Since the commencement of operation in June 2015, our company has been involved in skills development and production of quality school leather sandals, Pam slippers, shoes for male and females and we are proud to produce /promote made in Nigeria product.
Edoshoe manufacturing company is a Manpower development organization that carries on production of all kinds of footwear's, business development services provider, provision of business ideas, business plans strategy and assistance required to solve their specific business development needs. And we carry on business of general consultancy services and corporate manpower development training for Small, Medium Scales Enterprise development in all ramifications 
We also act as agent through which, all trained participants are empowered financially to enable them start up their business, also help in monitoring such business to avoid every possible failure or winding up.     
 PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The following are the objectives of this training:
 To aimed at equipping youths and returning migrant to have an entrepreneurial mindset and indirectly discourage them from any intention of migrating illegally
 To strategically reduce the number of unemployed youths across the State and country at large.
 Increase output of goods and services produced to meet market demand in Edo state and nation at large
To enable youths become economically and financially self sufficient

Classroom Expectation and Goals for Success:
The classroom is safe for students to express themselves freely. There is no exception to vandalizing art or judging student’s artwork negatively. Respect, help, and share ideas with your classmates. 
Work throughout the class time. Use your time wisely--stay on task during your projects and objective assignments. 
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the leather supplies and room. Respect the leather supplies, equipment, machinery, and furniture. Ask permission to use the materials. No supplies leave the factory without teacher's permission. 
Use all tools and supplies safely and properly! Do not throw or misuse materials improperly. 
Listen and follow directions. There will be no talking when presenting unless there is a discussion or questions. 
Work quietly. Students are allowed to talk in class if students are working efficiently. Conversations should be appropriate and using appropriate language.
HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE! Leather works is a practice and requires practicing. Nobody is perfect and everyone’s projects will be completely different from each other. I do not accept I can’t! Always do your personal best! 
Be prepared for class and come on time. Always bring a pencil or any other required materials and assignments to class.

STRENGTHS
The founder and president of this enterprise is from Edo State and has been trained by  reputable institution of learning in Nigeria; he studied Computer science from Benson Idahosa University, SMEDAN in 2009, Graduate Entrepreneurial Development Programme organize by Edo State Ministry of Commerce and Industry in 2009 and National Directorate of Employment /MDGs in 2009. Secret of Business Success, organized by Bank of Industry in-conjunction with Lark-Horton Global Consulting U.S.A in 2011. He has since upgraded his skills through series of seminars/workshops he has collaborated with other firms to organize a training programme for youths in rural communities. He still invests in his firm through upgrading of his business management skills.
Our partnership with Edo State Government through the Skills Development Agency Edojob has further help strengthen our operation, by providing vocational center for skills development to enable us extends our training service across the 18 LGA In Edo State, Nigeria.

INTRODUCTION
We are submitting our Technical and Financial Proposals for the consultancy services of Skills Acquisitions and Job Creation Programme in Edo State (SA/JCP) as a consultant on skills development.
Description of Approach Methodology and Work Plan for Performing an Assignment.
The project involves skills acquisition Trainings and other support services to SMEs under the Leather works Training for fresh start-up, youths willing to learn skills and establish their Small, Medium scale 
Enterprise and become an employer of Labour in Edo State will be encourage.  
There shall be a regular monitoring of various students during the training period and after the programme to ensure success of Leather works Training, at the same time organize participants and register them into the leather works association in Edo state, through this means. We shall monitor their activities in their respective business location, when they are fully established. 
PRE-TRAINING (SENSITIZATION AND AWARENESS CREATION PROGRAMME)
The first thing of any training programme is awareness and sensitization to the target Audience which in this case are O. Level (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE) Ordinary Diploma, National Diploma HND/Bsc holders, youths who are willing to go into leather works production and become employers of  Labour are inclusive.
  They maybe potential and existing small scale operators within a Geographical area. We shall relate with the Mass Media, Skills Development Agency, and Edojob to get prospective students to train.

REGISTER;
Edoshoe and partners shall prepare registration forms, and register all potential participants in order to create schedule so as to meet our target at the stipulated time. 
OBJECTIVES OF SKILLS ACQUISITION AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME. (SAEP).
This entrepreneurship development programme is targeted at the Returning Migrants (50) and People with Disabilities (Deaf, Arm/Hand deformities and Visually Impaired not inclusive)(50). 
Youths who are within the ages of 18-35 and talented individual who are gifted from the creator, will be further encouraged through this Skill Acquisition and empowerment Programme. This programme is design to enhance their capacity to become job creators rather than job seekers. This Skill Acquisition Training Programme will cover youth’s entrepreneurship.
OBJECTIVES OF SKILLS ACQUISITION AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME. (SAEP).
We shall be expecting youths of Edo State to pass through this skills acquisition programme to be trained for 1 month for comprehensive practical training on leather works. 
During the seminars, we shall address other areas of challenges facing existing and prospective youths entrepreneur in managing their businesses. When to produce, whom to produce for, sales and marketing of finished products, where to source for raw materials  and right machines, networking and establishing of businesses linkage with larger enterprise. 
We shall empower the beneficiaries of this Skills Acquisitions Programme by forming them into various cooperative groups to enable them setup an Industrial shoe making factory within one cluster in Edo State., and leading them to possible sources of credit for their operations as pointed out above.

TYPES OF SERVICE FOR LEATHER WORKS SKILLS ACQUISITION TRAINING PROGRAMME.
we shall provide leather works training and Business Development Services, and the services are divided into three major components:
Pre- Training Programme: Which includes, sensitization and awareness creation.
Training Programmes: Which include the skills acquisition proper on leather workers and Seminar where they shall learn how to keep accounting records.

WORK PLAN.
In line with the above trade, we shall adopt the following strategies to carry out the assignment;
We shall list names of all successful applicants and group them into different classes where instructor shall give them the necessary training. Following the required standard.
 Training workshops will be skills training center located in Ukiri Community our instructor will be on grand to train participants on various skills on leather works.  Following the time table and required training standard.
Training duration shall be 60 days, 1 months industrial training and 1 day capacity building programme, all student practical project will be  evaluated by our team and partners 
Post- Training Programme: This includes business counseling and follow up to ensure long team success of the new businesses.
There shall be a seminar after the end of the programme, where the participants will be trained on how to keep accounting records, how to access fund from Banks or government agency to start their new business.
Our team of supvisors shall work closely and monitor all trainees in their various training classes to make sure trainees respond to the programmes, there shall also be a register where they shall sign on daily; this register shall remain with our instructors.
We shall send our progress report to our partners weekly / monthly, to our partners. At the end of the training, we shall access and pick out serious trainee, who is willing to work with what he/she had learnt they May likely benefit from further plans from the sponsors of this programme. 
WORK SCHEDULE AND PAYMENT PLAN
Pre- Training which includes selection and screening of applicants duration 1weeks 1st report and payment of 60% of the entire project cost.
 Actual Training, this includes posting and grouping students into various classes where our dedicated instructors can train them.. This process involves monitoring and general supervision of the students.  Students shall have an identity card, uniform. nose mask, hand glove at the first week of training, we shall send our progress report to our partners International Organization for  Migration (IOM) And demand for an additional 10% of our payment.
We shall send our third progress report before the 2nd week of training. Edo shoe Manufacturing Company shall start the printing of graduation certificate and preparation for the graduation ceremony of successful trainee. We shall further demand for additional 20% of our service fees to enable us meet up with our plans.
We shall send our final report to International Organization for  Migration (IOM), 3 weeks before the expiration of the 1 month. Report shall include plans on the graduation ceremony and issuing of certificate to successful students. The balance 10% of our service charge will be paid to us. Seminar comes after the graduation ceremony.
