FAAC: Three Tiers of Government Share ₦2.550 Trillion as June 2026 Revenue; States and LGAs Receive Over ₦1.36 Trillion The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed a total of ₦2.551 trillion as Federation Account revenue for June 2026 to the Federal Government, the 36 state governments, and the 774 Local Government Councils across Nigeria. The allocation was approved during the FAAC meeting held in July 2026 in Abuja and chaired by the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy. Fresh report just coming in now says an operator of Point Of Sales Shop(POS) has just been shot dead by some suspected armed robbers in Benin city.The incident happened at Godwin Abbey Way,off Sapele road in Benin city.According to report,the armed men stormed the centre at exactly 12:50 PM on Friday 4 December,2020 and went straight to the young girl in her early twenties who was operating the POS shop.CRIME CORRESPONDENT FESTUS ALENKHE who just left the scene of the incident a moment ago reports that, the hoodlums after collecting her money, mobile phones and other personal items still shot the young girl dead on the spot.The reason for the killing even after they had successfully robbed her could not be easily ascertained.The dare devil armed men later zoomed off towards the Sapele road end of Benin city.The death of the young girl attracted some sympathisers who described the deceased as a young promising girl who was into POS business to make ends meet.Festus Alenkhe, 4 December,2020.
